June 24- June 30

I'm going to do my best to keep up with weekly posts again. Vacation had me miss too many weeks in a row, and I didn't feel like playing catch up!

June 24...we had a Mr. Big Eyes birthday party to celebrate Graham. Family joined us to help celebrate Graham's first birthday (where has this past year gone? It has FLOWN by!) I thought this food loving kid was going to dive right into the cake. Not so much. He kept touching the frosting and licking it, but wasn't overly excited about diving right in.

June 25...after a busy weekend, Callen was feeling under the weather. All he wanted to do was snuggle on his couch under a blanket. Even when he's sick, he's still making us laugh!

June 27....Happy Birthday, Graham!!!!

June 28...We spent the morning at the Children's Museum and the late part of the afternoon at Gower Park, looking for clues on the Park Hop

Cal is usually so cautious when going down the firepole...he reaches out and makes sure both arms and legs are secured around pole before sliding down. He must have gained some confidence because he decided to jump to the firepole this day!

June 29...I found a really good deal on an ENO billow. It's like a big couch that you inflate by billowing air into it. Cal has used it as a couch, his boat, bed, and pretty much anything else you can imagine. He hides in it, lays in it (for about 2 seconds!), and plays in it most all day. Even if it never makes it to a tailgate or camping with us, it has more than paid for itself with the household entertainment!

June 30...Daily I feel like I live on the episode of Seinfeld where George was caught taking food out of the trash can and eating it...except the food Graham takes and eats is not quite on the top and not so protected from the trash below! This boy loves to eat fruit rinds out of the trash while I am cutting watermelon, cantaloupe, mango!
