Life with two kiddos!

I feel like I have no time these days to sit at the computer and actually write about what is going on in our lives. Since Graham's birth 8 weeks ago, we have had only 2 weeks that have been 'normal' to us. So much has been going on, and we have just been trying to keep our heads above water until everything settles. I am hopeful that things are starting to slow down and more of a schedule will develop as Callen goes back to school in a few weeks, and Graham has more of a sleep/wake/eat schedule of his own.

Even through all the chaos that has been our life lately, we are still finding time to get outdoors and enjoy nature, explore Greenville, and savor the fun, crazy, and trying moments with Callen and Graham...because they won't be this size for very long.

Hiking adventures...
Getting ready to hike/walk around Lake Conestee

Graham's first hike...at Conestee (same place as Cal's)

Hiking the Glassy Mountain trail at the Carl Sandburg Home

Jumping in mud puddles!

Climbing rocks in Jones Gap
Climbing rocks at Yellow Branch Falls
Attempt at a family photo ...Callen was not happy about the stop in rock climbing
Lunch break

This kid was mesmerized by the waterfall and kept looking at it the entire time.

First dip in the mountain water
 Everyday moments to savor...

Brotherly hugs and kisses

Helping dad with projects

Taking it all in

Brothers playing firefighters

Turning one month old

Leaping (full force) into the terrible three's!!!

Protecting my paci from Callen

Water gun fights

Swinging in the yard

Running through the sprinkler

Catching a few zzzzz's

First smiles (actually caught on camera)

Cutting our own lunch...with a saw of course!!
Taking the time to read a good book

Dressing Graham like an elephant!
Even with all the chaos and craziness that has come our way since we became a family a four, I wouldn't trade a moment for our 'old life' of three. To see Callen love on Graham and want to play with him makes me smile. The big grins and 'laughs' Graham gives melt my heart. I love this 'new life' and all that has and will come with it!!!
